I was watching the TV in the afternoon and caught the end of this film, which I photographed. It was about the nuclear threat and it ended with a still of Westminster and I thought that there was going to be a mushroom cloud but just the credits came in with these unkown peoples names. I am interested in looking at things through other media in painting - here I am painting a television screen showing the Houses of Parliament, rather than trying to representing them directly.

I showed these as part of 'Remember My Name' at Sartorial Contemporary Art gallery, in its new location at Kings Cross in October 2008.
